Keeping your profile updated helps other participants recognize you and makes networking inside GoBrunch more personal and engaging.
You can update your profile information either from inside a room or from the GoBrunch homepage.
Let's go through both options.
Option 1: Update Your Profile From Inside a Room
Inside your room, follow these steps:
Click on My View
Click on My Profile
Update your name
Update your profile picture
Add any extra information you'd like to share
(Optional) Enable:
Show My Online Status to My Friends
Show My Room Location to My Friends
Click Update
Your profile changes will be saved automatically.
Option 2: Update Your Profile From the Homepage
You can also update your profile without joining a room.
Follow these steps:
Log in to GoBrunch
Click on Account in the top-right corner
Click on My Account
From there, you can update:
your name
your email address
your profile picture
additional profile information
Click Update
Your changes will be saved to your account.
What Are the Online Status and Room Location Options?
Inside your profile settings, you'll find two optional privacy settings.
Show My Online Status to My Friends
When enabled:
your friends can see when you're online
they can know when you're available inside GoBrunch
Show My Room Location to My Friends
When enabled:
your friends can see which room you're currently in
they may be able to join the same room more easily
These settings help make reconnecting and networking more natural.

Important to Keep in Mind
⚠️ Your profile picture and name may be visible to other participants inside rooms.
⚠️ Online status and room location visibility only apply to your friends.
⚠️ You can enable or disable these privacy settings at any time.
⚠️ Don't forget to click Update before leaving the settings page.
